KUALA LUMPUR, 13 May — The Saudi-Malaysian joint commission concluded on Friday its three-day meeting here. Osama Kurdi, secretary-general of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry who headed the Saudi delegation to the meeting, said that the participants discussed ways to increase cooperation between the Saudi and Malaysian private sectors and also the implementation of joint projects. The two sides also discussed the need for increasing Saudi non-oil exports to Malaysia in addition to the new regulation on Umrah. The volume of trade between the two countries amounted to SR2.188 billion last year.
