COTABATO CITY, 13 May — The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) yesterday reiterated its commitment to pursue the peace process despite the resumption of negative campaign against the Front. MILF spokesman Eid Kabalu admitted that many of the gains from  the  resumption of talks with the government is endangered as a result of this campaign. Kabalu said this might lead the peace talks to go back to "square one". He singled out the Philippine National Police report alleging the MILF to have received four (4) million pesos as "security fee" from candidates for permission to campaign in areas under MILF control. Kabalu also aired his group’s  request for the government to reveal the names of alleged MILF officials who received the "security fees".
