KARACHI, 15 May — Former Navy Chief Adm. Mansurul Haq, wanted in Pakistan on corruption charges, has indicated his willingness to testify in a kickback case against some top officials in Pakistan. Sources here said he has conveyed his desire to Pakistan Embassy officials in Washington. Meanwhile, the Pakistan People’s Party has demanded extradition of three key functionaries from the United States to Pakistan. They are Shaikh Saeed, a close friend of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Aamir Lodhi, brother of Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington Maleeha Lodhi, and Hameed Qidwai, a former Mehran Bank executive who is now the country’s envoy in Kenya. A PPP press release here said the demand was voiced by former Interior Minister Gen. Naseerullah Babar. The party said that Lodhi was a well-known middle man in defense deals.
