JEDDAH, 27 May — The Central Haj Committee met here yesterday under the chairmanship of Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed. The meeting discussed the government’s preparations for the upcoming Umrah season, especially the supply of water and electricity to Makkah. It also focused on the strategic water supply from the desalination plant in Shuaiba and measures to fill 40 water tanks in the city.
