JEDDAH, 2 June — Maj. Gen. Saad Al-Tuwaijeri, director general of the Civil Defense Department, has emphasized the need for making use of foreign expertise to promote Civil Defense services. Speaking to Al-Riyadh newspaper recently, he highlighted the cooperation between the Kingdom and developed countries in the field. “We have a number of officers who are getting trained outside the Kingdom, especially in France and the US,” he said. Foreign experts are hired to provide intensive training to our officers in the Kingdom, he added.
