AL-MAJMAA, 2 January —— An 80-year-old man was rescued by his young sons from a burning tent, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported yesterday. The old man and his sons had returned to their camp after grazing cattle in a nearby field in the evening. The youths prepared a fire for the old man to warm himself and went out to see if their sheep were secured. On return after half an hour, they found their father struggling to put out a fire which had encircled him and burned his clothes and parts of his body. The youths rescued their father and took him immediately to the nearest Artawiyah General Hospital. He is still treated in the intensive care ward, the paper said.
