RIYADH, 8 January — The Saudi Committee in Support of Al-Quds Intifada has so far given SR123.75 million to families of Palestinians killed and injured in Israeli gunfire as well as to the needy Palestinian families, Interior Minister Prince Naif, chairman of the committee, announced yesterday.
Speaking to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Naif confirmed that the committee was extending the assistance directly to the deserving Palestinian families in Gaza and West Bank in association with Palestinian charitable organizations. The Saudi aid was given to 2,218 prisoners, 358 families of martyrs, and 8,000 injured and 1,000 handicapped. (SPA)
