RIYADH, 10 January — Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed presented cash awards to two civil defense officers in Jeddah yesterday. The awards were given in recognition of the extraordinary courage the two officers had shown to rescue two small children from an apartment which was on fire during a Ramadan night. The children were unable to come out because of the flames surrounding them. (SPA)
