RIYADH, 7 June — The Kingdom will participate in the World Anti-Narcotic Day on June 26. The theme of the event will be “The abuse of narcotic and intoxicating drugs.” The Kingdom has been in the forefront of countries which realized the menace of drug abuse. As part of its efforts to curb the drug menace, the Kingdom signed the international anti-narcotic convention and joined the UN fund to combat drug abuse. The Kingdom has also endorsed a law drawn up by the Arab Interior Ministers’ Council to fight the menace.
