RIYADH, 11 January — Customs directors in the Kingdom discussed problems faced by the customs officials during their work and ways to simply and update their tasks.
Finance and National Economy Minister Ibarhim Al-Assaf opened the periodic meeting of the customs officers at the Customs Department here yesterday.
Assaf stressed the significance of the human element in customs operations.
He also said the Kingdom was passing through a transition period following its application for the World Trade Organization membership. (SPA)
