KHAMIS MUSHAYT, 16 January — An Indian worker died and three others were injured in a road accident in Al-Leith last Saturday. One of their fellow travelers escaped unhurt.
The five-member group was returning from Makkah to Khamis Mushayt after performing Umrah. Abbas Zainul Abdeen, 39, died on the spot when the Chevrolet car they were traveling was hit from behind by another car. He was an employee of Allied Maintenance Company in Khamis Mushayt.
Zainul Abdeen, who hailed from Bombay, is survived by his wife and two children who are back in India. He was planning to go on vacation in May this year. His body has been kept in a Al-Leith hospital. -- A. Jamil
