RIYADH, 18 January — The King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology has invited nominations from private and public institutions for the Marai prize for scientific innovations. There are two prizes. The best scientist prize is given to the scientists living in the Kingdom in appreciation of their contributions in basic and applied sciences and inventions. The winner of this prize will get SR100,000, a medal and a merit certificate. The best innovation prize is given to the best work in science and technology including published research papers and industrial designs. The winner of this prize will receive SR160,000, a medal and a merit certificate, a press statement said. (A.N.)
