RIYADH, 24 January —  A Shoura Council meeting presided over by Chairman Muhammad ibn Jubair offered condolences to the bereaved family on the death of Sheikh Fuad Alireza, the former member of the Council. The meeting also approved recommendations submitted by the Islamic affairs committee on the performance of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The council also decided to grant the presidency plots in major cities to construct branch offices. (SPA)
