RIYADH, 25 January — Interior Minister Prince Naif, chairman of the Higher Council for Information, reaffirmed the important role the mass media have to play in rebuilding the society. He said this meeting with the chief editors of local newspapers and magazines at office here yesterday. The minister urged the editors to stick to facts in reporting and to overcome personal motives while fulfilling their duty. He asked them to contribute toward strengthening the bonds of love and cooperation among the people and to protect the higher national interest. Information Minister Fuad Al-Farsi also attended the meeting. (SPA)
