JEDDAH, 25 January — Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed will head a new council for improving health care services in the Makkah region. The council with undersecretary of the Makkah governorate as deputy chairman and director of King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah as its secretary-general, has the director of health affairs in the Makkah region and directors of King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital  in Jeddah, King Khaled National Guard Hospital and Al-Hada Military Hospital, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the King Abdul Aziz University Dr. Hassan Jamal, Dr. Abbas Marzouqi, Dr. Abdul Rahman Bakhsh, Abdul Aziz Kamel and Saleh Al-Turki as its members. Dr. Nasser Mahdi is named secretary of the council. (SPA)
