ROME, 1 February — The first meeting of the Saudi-Italian consultative body, which was held yesterday at the Italian foreign ministry, discussed the future possibilities of cooperation in energy sector as well as in other industrial sectors which the Kingdom wants to expand by offering support to the medium and small companies. The meeting also agreed to improve relations between the two countries in the fields of culture, science and technology. Nizar Madani, assistant foreign minister, headed the Saudi delegation to the meeting The Italian side was headed by the country's foreign secretary. (SPA)
