JEDDAH, 1 February — A woman director of an school was killed and her assistant injured in a traffic accident in Al-Ola, 450 km north of Madinah, on Monday. The accident occurred while the two women were traveling in a bus to their school, some 200 km away from Al-Ola. They were the only travelers in the bus at the time of the accident that took place at a major intersection.

According to Al-Madinah newspaper, a Saudi man was killed and another injured when their car overturned on Tuesday while going to Taif from Jeddah. The accident occurred when Aidha Al-Harithy, who was driving the car in the night along the Hadab tourist road, fell asleep at the wheel. Harithy died on way to hospital from internal bleeding, the Arabic daily reported.
