RIYADH, 4 February — Interior Minister Prince Naif, who is chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, yesterday endorsed this year's Haj security plan during a meeting with top security officers. Gen. Saleh Khosaifan, director general of intelligence, and Lt. Gen. Asaad Abdul Kareem Al-Fareeh, director of public security, attended the meeting. Prince Naif highlighted efforts being made by the Kingdom's security agencies and officials in the service of pilgrims. A large number of pilgrims from different parts of the Islamic world have already arrived in the Kingdom to take part in the Haj scheduled to start on March 3. (SPA)
