RIYADH, 6 February — Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar arrived here last night on a two-day visit to the Kingdom. He was received at the King Khaled International Airport by Dr. Nizar Obeid Madani, assistant minister of foreign affairs. Sri Lanka's Ambassador Nowfel Saly Jabir and senior officials were also present at the airport to welcome the minister. Kadirgamar will hold talks with Minister of Finance and National Economy Ibrahim Al-Assaf today. During his stay in the Kingdom, the Sri Lankan minister is expected to discuss with Saudi leaders a proposal to set up a joint panel to promote bilateral cooperation. -- Javid Hassan
