JEDDAH, 13 February — A delegation from the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry left for Beirut to take part in the 9th international conference on the prospects and guarantees of Euro-Arab investments which opens today in the Lebanese capital. CSCCI Secretary-General Osama Al-Kurdi said the delegates would discuss economic cooperation between Arab and European countries in the light of an accelerated globalization trend. The CSCCI, the Arab-European Studies Center in Paris, the Arab League and the Arab-British and Arab-French chambers are jointly organizing the conference. Al-Kurdi who is member of the higher organizing committee of the conference said in a statement before leaving Riyadh that the conference would provide an excellent opportunity for the European delegates to know more about the investment climate in Saudi Arabia and provide the possibility for joint ventures between European and Saudi businessmen.
