RAFHA, 19 February — Five people were killed in a head-on collision involving two passenger cars on the Northern Highway, some 10 kilometers away from Rafha town, last Saturday.

The cars caught fire due to the impact of the collision and none of the passengers could not get out to safety before the flames enveloped them. Civil defense officials said they could not identify the bodies because they were charred beyond recognition.

Meanwhile, 13 members of a family sustained injuries of varying degree while they met with an accident on their way to Riyadh from Wadi Al-Dawasir. (AN)
