MAKKAH, 24 June — A driver was killed and seven others were injured in a head-on collision between a passenger car and a pick-up van on the Al-Khaif-Taif Road recently. The van driver died on the spot. Due to the impact of the collision the car caught fire but six of its passengers were rescued by a Civil Defense team, the Okaz daily reported yesterday. (AN)
