JEDDAH, 22 February — King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah has opened a pilgrim clinic as a part of the hospital's contribution to pilgrims welfare this Haj season. The Community relations department at the hospital in coordination with the family medicine department, which is operating the clinic, announced that the facility would offer a complete health program for pilgrims. The clinic's main job was to"fully evaluate the pilgrims' health conditions as well as providing them with helpful recommendations."

The clinic will be introducing a health guide and raising awareness of food poisoning during Haj. Prevention of contiguous diseases, vaccination reviews, blood tests and health certificates are areas that the department will also be addressing. The clinic will provide services for both Saudi and non-Saudi pilgrims. It is supervised by Dr. Rashed Al-Gayaan, the head of the family medicine department at KFSH. -- Sarah Abuljadayel
