JEDDAH, 23 February — Interior Minister Prince Naif arrived here Wednesday beginning an inspection tour of the preparations and arrangements for the current Haj season by all the related government and other agencies. Prince Naif appealed to the agencies, particularly the security officials, to strive to their maximum abilities to guarantee full safety and comfort to pilgrims coming from all parts of the world. The prince also appealed to pilgrims to perform their rites with ease and tranquility by cooperating with efforts of the Haj agencies, obeying the regulations and instructions and keeping away from any activity violating the sanctity of the place and the occasion. Meanwhile Haj Minister Iyad Madani visited the headquarters of the Guide Establishment of Mutawwifs for Pilgrims of Non-Arab African countries in Makkah yesterday. (SPA)
