JEDDAH, 28 February — The Jeddah 2000 Festival, which attracted some 2.3 million tourists, generated SR1.76 billion revenue, according Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal ibn Majed. Prince Mishaal said this while reviewing a report on the festival at a meeting of the Jeddah Tourism Committee here yesterday. Prince Abdul Majeed, who chaired the meeting, urged the concerned agencies to make next year's festival a greater attraction and start one week after the school holidays begin. (SPA)
