RIYADH, 26 June — Labor and Social affairs Minister Ali Al-Namlah has ordered distribution of SR349.4 million as grants to disabled people for the year 2001-02, according to Awad Al-Radadi, undersecretary at the ministry. The payments will start from July 7. There are an estimated 75,000 disabled people in the Kingdom, he said. Families of disabled children will get an additional grant of SR81 million taking the total sum to SR430.4 million.
