MADINAH, 1 March — A shop selling imitation wrist-watches was closed down by municipal officials in Madinah recently. The shop, which sold imitations of Citizen, Rado and Sieko watches, is located near the Prophet's Mosque. The officials fined the shop owner and ordered him to return the price of 16 watches to victimized customers. The committee to combat commercial fraud in the municipality is empowered to inspect shops which deal in imitation goods. (AN)
