JEDDAH, 2 March — Health Minister Osama Shubokshi said that no pilgrim in the Haram was suffering from any infectious disease. There are 16 medical teams ready to tackle any medical emergency. Osama Shubokshi particularly denied the presence of the Rift Valley Fever in the holy city, according to an Al-Watan report. An official source denied the rumors that an Iranian pilgrim in Madinah was affected by RVF, Saudi  Press Agency reported. The ministry has also instructed the concerned agencies in the ministry to make sure that there is no infectious disease in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah and in Jeddah.
