JEDDAH, 5 July — The Dar-ul-Ilm Educational Committee will hold short-term summer courses for young students to promote Islamic awareness among them. Separate classes will be held for boys and girls in Qur’an recitation and memorization, prayer and Islamic jurisprudence. The students will get certificates and awards at a special ceremony after the completion of the courses, the committee said in a statement. An Islamic quiz will also be held among other programs to understand their talents. The course will be held from July 7 to Aug. 22 (from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Saturday to Wednesday), the committee said. Special bus service has been arranged to pick and drop the students.
