RIYADH, 5 July — The General Investment Authority licensed 43 new projects worth SR990.4 million last month, according to a GIA statement. Foreign capital in the project constituted 61.4 percent, or SR608.2 million, the statement added. The projects, including 25 new industrial ventures worth SR941.3 million, are expected to create 1,527 jobs. “The most important among the projects is a power generation plant in Jubail,” the statement said, adding that 18 of the projects involving an investment of SR49.1 million are in the services sector.
