RIYADH, 8 July  — An Indian worker was killed and a Pakistani taxi driver injured in a head-on collision at Marat, 160 km from Riyadh, last Monday. Abdul Salam, a driver-cum-salesman, was heading for Marat to supply goods to the area when the tragedy struck, according to relatives of the deceased. The taxi driver has been admitted to the general hospital in Shaqra, a small town 40 km from Marat. Abdul Salam, 30, hailing from the Trichur district of Kerala, came to Saudi Arabia in 1992. (JH)
