RIYADH, 10 July — The Kingdom will take part in an emergency meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Union in Yemen tomorrow. The Saudi delegation will be headed by Shoura Council President Ibrahim ibn Jubair. The two-day meeting will discuss the role of Arab parliaments in supporting the Palestinian struggle for restoring legitimate rights. The delegates will exchange views on various Islamic and international issues.The meeting will also consider the Shoura Council’s application to join the union. The Saudi consultative council recently decided to join the International Parliamentary Union as well as the Arab Parliamentary Union. (SPA)
