RIYADH, 13 July — Indonesia has temporarily suspended sending workers to Saudi Arabia in a bid to get additional benefits for them. The suspension took effect on July 9. However, Waleed Al-Suwiedan, chairman of the National Committee for Labor Recruitment at the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry said the Indonesian move was unilateral and a violation of the memorandum of understanding signed between concerned agencies of the two countries. He said the Kingdom has not stopped issuing visas for Indonesians.
