JEDDAH, 16 July — Reacting to an announcement by German car makers Mercedes on the recall of 150,000 cars manufactured between 1995 and 1996 due to a flaw in the airbag safety mechanism, Ibrahim Al-Juffali & Bros. company, the authorized Mercedes distributors in the Kingdom, said the manufacturers did not inform them of the decision. Al-Juffali will take all necessary steps for the callback as soon as it receives directives, a company source said. — Yasser Rashid
