MAKKAH, 20 July  — Makkah municipal authorities confiscated and destroyed a large quantity of foodstuff unfit for human consumption in the Aziziyah district in the southern part of the holy city. The officials, following a tip off, raided the warehouse in the residential area where the food packets, well past the expiry dates, were stored in an unhygienic manner. The owner of the warehouse is being questioned by the police. The culprits will be punished with fines. (AN)
