JAKARTA, 31 July — A SR10 million contract has been signed to purchase a plot of land for the Institute of Arab and Islamic Sciences in Jakarta, an affiliate of the Riyadh-based Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. Dr. Muhammad Al-Salim, president of the university, said the 17,000-square-meter plot is located in downtown Jakarta. About 5,000 students graduate annually from the Jakarta institute, one of the five such centers run by the university abroad. (SPA)
