RIYADH, 3 August  — The Passport Department in Riyadh will open a special section to receive fines related to traffic violations in the next few days, according to Brig. Saleh Al-Khodair, director general of the department. Speaking to Al-Watan Arabic daily, he said the section was planned following a decision that bans issuance of new passports and iqamas to the violators who fail to pay the fines. He said the department has also expanded the section to receive people of special needs as well as that of the retired and aged.
