JEDDAH, 22 July — There are still 24 Saudis in US jails and detention centers for violating residency and academic regulations, Okaz reported yesterday quoting Talal Barri, counselor at the Saudi Embassy in Washington. He said the Cultural Attache at the embassy had informed all Saudi students to abide by US regulations in order to avoid problems. He disclosed that a number of Saudi students arrested for forging Tofel certificates had been released on bail. "The trial for some of them started on June 26. Dates have been set for the trial of a second group," he said.
