JEDDAH, 24 July — The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), an affiliate of the Muslim World League, has distributed a large quantity of dates as a gift from King Fahd, custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to widows, orphans and other poverty-stricken people of Cameroon. The consignment includes two container full of dates, which will be distributed under the supervision of the Kingdom’s embassy, IIRO Secretary-General Dr. Khalil Basha said. IIRO distributed 765 kilos of dates last year as a gift from King Fahd to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, the Philippines and Kashmir. (SPA)
