RIYADH, 27 July — A massive fire hit a warehouse of Al-Jazirah Markets in Suleimaniya, causing damage worth more than SR17 million.
Brig. Misfer Al-Joaid, director of civil defense in the Riyadh region, told Arab News that investigations were under way to establish the cause of fire.
He said the fire did not cause any deaths or major injuries. Six Civil Defense teams took part in the fire-fighting operation.The warehouse contained foodstuff, household utensils, perfumes, cosmetics and clothes.
