JEDDAH, 2 August — A Casablanca judge has granted bail to two Saudi pilots who were charged with stealing a small plane from a Saudi businessman settled in Morocco, Al-Yaum newspaper reported yesterday. Denying the charges, the accused said they obeyed the orders of one of their employers to fly the plane from Casablanca to Algiers and from there on to the Kingdom. The pilots are the victims of a dispute between two Saudi business partners, who dissolved their partnership, over the ownership of the plane. While one of them is settled in Morocco the other lives in Saudi Arabia.
