RIYADH, 7 September — An Ethiopian man convicted of murdering a compatriot was executed in Makkah yesterday, the Interior Ministry said. “Mohammed ibn Said ibn Mohammed Ali killed his countryman Mohammed ibn Ali ibn Said with an ax while he slept, before stealing his money and running away,” the ministry said in a statement.
