ABU DHABI, 8 September — Police in the United Arab Emirates have arrested a gang of four people for stealing 1 million dirhams from a bank in Abu Dhabi, a newspaper reported yesterday.
“Security forces in the emirate of Abu Dhabi have succeeded in arresting a gang of four people who tried to undermine the stability and security of the country by stealing 1 million dirhams from a bank in Abu Dhabi on Aug. 17,” the Khaleej Times said quoting an Interior Ministry statement.
The statement said the four were arrested shortly after they had committed the crime.
