MANAMA, 9 September — Hamad Al-Sayyari, governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, said yesterday that he expected a three to four percent growth in the Kingdom’s non-oil sectors this year.

Speaking to Arab News on the sidelines of an Arab bankers’ conference here, he said it was still premature to talk about the growth rate of the oil sector as it depends on fluctuations in the international market.

Arab central bank governors meeting in Manama, meanwhile, discussed the effect of Sept. 11 attacks on their economies, implementation of e-banking and efforts to combat money laundering.
