JEDDAH, 19 May 2003 — Punjab Chief Minister Ch. Pervez Elahi arrived in the Kingdom Saturday night to perform Umrah and pray at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. He was received at King Abdul Aziz Airport by acting Consul General Zahid Nasrullah and senior officials of the Saudi Ministry of Interior. Elahi left for Makkah immediately after arrival. He will stay in the Kingdom until Friday.
Meanwhile, the Consulate General of Pakistan said in a statement yesterday that Brig. Saleem Mueen, chairman of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), will address a community meeting in the consulate premises between 5.30 and 7 p.m. tomorrow.
