TAIF, 20 May 2003 — A man was seriously injured after being struck by a sword, Al-Watan reported. A fight over money escalated and the victim’s adversary struck him over the head with a sword, nearly killing him. Neighbors intervened and alerted the police, who arrested the perpetrator.
