JEDDAH, 28 May 2003 — The Saudi Research and Marketing Group announced yesterday that it was postponing the silver jubilee celebrations of Asharq Al-Awsat, a sister publication of Arab News, which was scheduled for June 1 at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.
SRMG will announce the new date for the celebrations later, a statement said. It expressed the group’s regret to all the invitees and said they would be informed of the new date shortly.
