RIYADH, 8 June 2003 — Under the auspices of Princess Hussa bint Salman ibn Abdul Aziz, the Ladies’ Cultural Committee of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry will today present a seminar on “Businesswomen in the Light of the System: Their Rights and Responsibilities.”
Lectures will be delivered by Layla Al-Dughaithir and Zeina Abu Hassan, both legal consultants. The seminar will be held at the Prince Salman Social Center at 7 p.m.
The seminar is part of continuing efforts by the Ladies’ Cultural Committee to support the activities of businesswomen and to explain the services that the chamber provides for businesswomen.
The topics to be discussed include legal aspects and procedures and laws that businesswomen have to face. It will also address the protection of women’s rights under the law. Guests are encouraged to engage in open discussions on the topics.
