AMMAN, 9 June 2003 — The Jordanian government yesterday invited the Iraqi private sector to take part in the World Economic Forum to be held at the Dead Sea resort June 21-23, saying the conference would provide an opportunity for discussing Iraq’s reconstruction. The invitation came during a meeting between Planning Minister Bassem Awadallah and a visiting Iraqi business team led by Thamer Sheikhali, an official statement said.
