JEDDAH, 13 June 2003 — The one day match for the inter-city championship between JCL XI and EPCA XI will be played today at 9:00 a.m. at JCL 3 (Saudia Milk) ground. JCL was formed in 1976 and EPCA in 1980.
They have been playing the inter-city matches on reciprocal basis and till now both teams have equal win-loss records.
JCL has an advantage of home ground. Shahid Amin, founder president of JCL, has already announced the following 15 players for the JCL XI comprising Anis Malik (Captain), Syed Wajahat Hussain (Vice Captain), Mohammed Naeem ullah Khan (Manager), Hamid Rana (Coordinator), Khalid Butt (UMA), Owais Ahmed (Saudia Milk), Rashid Butt (SGB), Mohsin Mirza Mohammed Azim (Traco ), Mohammed Irfan, Amjad Ali, Mahfooz Ali (Mahmoud Saeed), Shoiab Ali (Young Athletes), Aamir Sardar (IDB), Mammaraz Khan (Sadafco), Mohammed Niaz and Irfan (Traco Green).
At the end of the match prize distribution shall be held.
Arab News Editor-in-Chief Khaled Al-Maeena will be the chief guest of the function.
Meanwhile, EPCA was given a warm welcome by members of JCL Committee on their arrival here on a two-day visit on Wednesday evening.
